We are looking to recruit an ambitious solar project engineer to support all facets of our business as we continue to expand.

The Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for the supporting commercial and industrial solar opportunities from 100kW to 3MW in size.  Duties shall generally include:

• Manage the design of commercial solar installations
• Provide technical reviews across all installations
• Maintain compliance with CEC requirements.
• Manage grid connection process with local DNSPs
• Support the delivery team in ensuring project documentation is available
• Support the delivery team in establishing safe work sites
• Ensuring installers are kept up to date with the latest industry developments
• Drive project management standards across the team
• Gather and manage market intelligence such as competitor product and pricing
• Superior customer service to all clients and stakeholders.

Experience required:

• 4 + years of experience in the solar industry in a similar commercial role
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Strong hands-on experience in leading commercial project delivery
• CEC Solar Design accreditation
• An excellent communicator, at ease being onsite with the installation team
• Confidence across the Microsoft suite of products
